Event Navigation

Canadians love their pets. It has been estimated that approximately 35% of Canadian households have a dog, and 38% have a cat (Ipsos Reid, 2011). We share our homes with these wonderful animals,
as well as a host of other intriguing pets. They enrich our lives, but they also pose some unique challenges to the functioning and maintenance of our spaces.

Join Margaret Shisko, Interior Design Consultant with CPI Interiors, and Jessica O’Neill, Owner and Canine Behaviour Specialist at the Pet Intel Behaviour Centre, for an informative seminar on Creating a Pet Friendly Home. Jessica will help pet owners to understand the environmental requirements for dogs at different developmental stages. She will also offer strategies for teaching your animals to respect your home and furnishings. Margaret will present some design ideas to accommodate the needs of your pet for sleep, food and play. She will also introduce some great products which are currently available to assist you in creating and maintaining a beautiful home.
