Easton, Md.—- James S. Bugg, Sr., chairman of Decorating Den Interiors, North America’s largest interior design and home furnishings franchise company, was voted “Best Franchising Pioneer” after a month of online voting on a website that presented brief biographies of 50 pioneers who helped build the $2 trillion franchise industry.

Bugg was the only home furnishings executive in the listing.

“Bugg is a pioneer in the franchise industry because he helped the International Franchise Association open up its membership requirements to include franchisees.
