Decorating Den Interiors’ design pros win in Window Fashions Envision competition

Easton, Md.— Window Fashions Vision magazine honored four projects by three Decorating Den Interiors franchise owners in the publication’s Envision competition for designs of beautifully made custom window treatments.
Awards were presented at a ceremony held in Las Vegas in conjunction with the International Window Coverings Expo, which was part of Design and Construction Week, which also included the Las Vegas Furniture Market, the Kitchen & Bath Show, The International Surfaces Event (for flooring, stone and tile professionals), and the International Builders Show.
First place in Curtains and Draperies went to Barbara Elliottand Jennifer Ward Woods, owners of the Decorating Den Interiors franchise in Stone Mountain, Ga., for panels in a bold graphic citrine combined with a Roman shade.
First place in Top Treatments went to Tonie VanderHulst owner of Decorating Den Interiors in Redlands, Calif., for a classically styled embroidered silk lambrequin trimmed in a beaded gold tassel fringe.
Second place in Soft Shades also went to VanderHulst for blue taffeta Roman shades with fabricated blackout lining.
Second place in Decorative Hardware & Trims went to Pamela Ryalls-Boyd, owner of Decorating Den Interiors in Morgan Hill, Calif., for hardware featuring medallions of clustered grapes and leaves to complement hand-painted murals on the walls.
Decorating Den Interiors has nearly 400 franchise owners and decorators throughout North America. They represent more than 85 suppliers of furniture, case goods, accessories, lighting, floor and wall coverings, draperies and other hard and soft window treatments, and closet and storage systems.
