Decorating Den Interiors Promotes Three
Easton, Md. — Decorating Den Interiors announced three promotions in its Easton, Md. corporate office. Bobbie Combs has been named Director of Training and Education. James Grimplin has been named Director of Technology. Daniel Palmer has been named Information Technology specialist and Salesforce administrator.
“Bobbie has been part of our training department for six years while also providing franchise support as a field manager,” said James S. Bugg, Jr., chief executive officer and president. “She was named Field Manager of the Year in 2016. James and Daniel have played key roles in the development our proprietary Back Office Support System (BOSS) that gives our interior design business owners a competitive edge in creating design proposals, building fabulous client experiences, having a one-stop shop for marketing, managing their finances and more.”
Combs’ interior design experience includes model homes, healthcare, hospitality and commercial design. She has an interior design degree from Radford University and
NCIDQ (national council for interior design qualification) certification. “I truly love training and inspiring other designers in all aspects of their business from business planning to designing and client service,” she says.
Technology support advantage
“Technology has been the driver in developing back-office support,” Bugg explained. “QuickBooks transformed accounting. Design software replaced sketches and magnetic boards for creating client presentations. Project management systems were developed. CRM systems and web-based marketing resources were built. But, getting them all to work together was a challenge.
“James and Daniel have been instrumental in developing our one-of-a-kind system. Salesforce is a key component and they have both become Certified Salesforce Administrators,” Bugg added.
Grimplin joined Decorating Den Interiors in 2016. He has a Bachelors degree in network security.
Palmer, a graduate of Delaware Technical Institute, joined the company in 2018.
