Decorating Den Interiors shows strong retail sales, adds franchises in six states, D.C., and Canada in 2014, and plans info booth at Las Vegas Design & Construction week.

Easton, Md.— Decorating Den Interiors finished with another outstanding year in sales while continuing to add to its franchise base across North America in 2014.

“With consumer confidence on the rise, home sales improving, and remodeling gaining momentum, our business model is ideal for today’s busy homeowners. Consumers are looking for convenience, and our full-service home furnishings model with no-fee, in-home design consultations enables our designers to pull it all together for clients,” explains Jim Bugg, Jr., CEO, Decorating Den Interiors. “2014 was our best year in sales since 2008, topping $38 million. In addition, we opened 18 new franchises in six states, Washington, D.C. and Canada,” he added.

During the year, the company also announced a new “To The Trade Program” for independent interior design and home furnishings professionals. “This program offers an opportunity to build on an existing home furnishings and design business by adding product lines, increasing profits, and expanding the customer base through proven client development and marketing tools,” says Bugg.

“Among the benefits we provide,” he explained, “are buying power through direct supplier accounts for higher margins, no inventory requirements, on-going training, national branding and credibility, marketing and public relations resources and support, camaraderie of hundreds of peers, and international recognition.” The program offers a franchise to qualified professionals for a low down payment with an opportunity to pay off the balance through a portion of the standard royalty fee—essentially an opportunity to earn their franchise for less than 40-percent of the normal price.

The company will have a booth at the International Window Coverings Expo, January 20-22, part of the Las Vegas Design and Construction Week.
