Kentucky Design Awards

Easton, Md.— Two prestigious Kentucky Design and Remodeling Awards from the Home Builders Association of Kentucky went to Jeanne Sallee, owner of Decorating Den Interiors of Lexington, Ky.

Sallee won the Judges Award-First Place for a bathroom renovation shown below. The completed design converted a 5-foot-by-8-foot space into a 5-foot-by-10-foot space. The bathroom remodel provided more floor space, much needed storage and a beautiful vanity and shower featuring the latest in design and practicality. Her design also won first place in the bathroom category of Decorating Den Interiors International Dream Room Contest judged by international home interiors journalists.

Sallee also won the President’s Award for her kitchen design, also shown below. She renovated a dated enclosed kitchen and opened it into the family room. The remodeled kitchen includes granite countertops, Amish-made cherry cabinets, an island and covered arches.
